Customer Rating: Summary: too small for little hands Comment: the actual size of the toy itself is about 4.5". when you take it apart the pieces are really tiny and one needs crafty hands to be able to put everything back together. because the ovreall dimension is so small the parts are not detailed enough. this was not a problem for me, because i baought it for my 3 & 1/2 year old son, but he needs adult supervision with it. plus the way it's crafted is not very precise, and the pegs that hold the pieces together not positioned right everywhere what also makes it challenging to put it together. it says in the discription that it comes with a book. i'd rather call it a booklet, with very minimal information about the human body.
overall it satisfies the curiousity of my child. it shows him what is the mysterious stuff inside our body (and most importantly where poop comes from) but i don't think it is suitable for further educational purposes. since it meets only a child's level the whole thing should be larger.
Customer Rating: Summary: Model is much smaller than you think Comment: The dimensions listed are for the box which holds the model, and not for the model itself. It is surprisingly small, and no where near the 9 or even 6 inches listed in the stats. Don't be fooled. I own the model; bought it here on Amazon; and am glad to have it. But wow was I surprised to see how dinky it actually is... and when I rechecked the size, I realized the size listed is the box size it came in. What a mis-representation!
Customer Rating: Summary: human anatomy model Comment: This human anatomy model is fine for older children, ages 10-13, but younger ones will find the pieces too small to enjoy and too easy to lose. Some of the pieces do not fit easily in their place, making it a frustrating puzzle.
